Job Description

Netwoven is looking for an experienced “IT Manager - Cloud Infrastructure” with a proven track record of managing internal IT infrastructure and a team of IT professionals. The individual will work closely with Netwoven’ s Global Infrastructure team to ensure smooth operations and delivery of client projects.

  • Deliver Microsoft Azure and Office 365 solutions in support of Netwoven’s internal and client-facing technology initiatives This includes the build-out and provisioning of DEV, QA, UAT and Prod environment as well as POC/Demo environment.
  • Participate in the design of Cloud-based infrastructure solution alongside Cloud Architects and service domains to ensure that future business requirements are represented
  • Create cross-functional infrastructure project plans that encompasses all of the tasks required to buildout/deliver the infrastructure
  • Ensure that the technical artifacts required to implement infrastructure solutions are developed, reviewed and approved

    Functional Areas
    Server Management: Must have a good understanding of server technologies, Windows Server, SCCM, Active Directory Management, Virtualization, monitoring, and optimization
    Cloud Management: Must have thorough knowledge on Deployment of Azure Resources, Cost Analysis, Service monitoring, work with corporate security compliance deployment, project onboarding and offboarding of resources,

    Vendor Management: Will be responsible for establishing strong partnerships with vendors and set clear expectations, negotiating access agreements, establishing service level agreements and ensuring contracts are in place to support the services provided by the infrastructure team

    Establish Standards and Procedures: Should have a clear vision of corporate goals and objectives while establishing standards that ensure the technical team work together in a consistent manner. Define the internal process, oversee the functioning and assume responsibility and accountability for service uptime. Must maintain clear communication with management and must take prior approval for every new standards and procedure

    Oversee IT Department: The position plays a large role in the management of Netwoven’s s IT department as a whole. Drive IT Help Desk daily activities, prepare for routine maintenance, keep a record of asset inventory, maintain data collection of performance metrics, service levels, planned and unplanned outages.
    IT Strategy and Budgeting: Will be responsible for Internal IT strategy, internal adoption, infrastructure upgrade planning and budgeting, provide appropriate justification for purchases, monitor expenses and maintain transparency & communication with higher management.

    Required Skills:

  • Infrastructure experience and knowledge including a deep understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure/O365 services and delivery models, storage concepts, networking basics, Exchange, SharePoint & Security Compliance etc.
  • Experience managing resources in a fast-moving environment, nurture, guide and accelerate skill development for the team • Strong project management skills (organization and time).
  • Ability to apply standardized project control mechanisms (e.g., planning, progress tracking, estimating and budgeting, resource planning, and allocation, issue and risk management, process improvement).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-learner/self-starter who can be immediately effective with ambiguity or a lack of direction. • Experience with ITIL or ITSM a plus.
  • A team player who values honesty and transparency credits others and is willing to share success.

    Microsoft Messaging & Communications Platform:
    o Microsoft Exchange, Skype For Business and key Office 365 services – Teams, Skype for Business Online and Exchange Online
    o Teams voice and communication, Direct Routing and Telephony
    o Teams Governance and Azure Active Directory Group administration.
    o Migration of On-prem and 3rd party Messaging & Communication to O365
    Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security (EMS):
    o Azure Active Directory Premium o Conditional Access
    o Identity Protection o Azure Information Protection
    o Microsoft Cloud App Security
    o Retention and In-Place Hold o Intune and Mobility Management
    o Risk-based access and protection
    Core Infrastructure & Migrations o PowerShell Automation :
    o Active Directory, ADFS, and 3rd Party Identity providers.
    o Knowledge of Azure Infrastructure, IAAS and PAAS o SCCM, Intune, 3rd Party MDM solution, Deployment Services.
    o Knowledge Office 365 audit and management

    Experience Required

  • 15+ work experience in IT industry
  • 4 years of specialized technology project management
  • 2 years of hands-on experience as Cloud Architect
  • Qualification Required

    Bachelor’s in computer application / Computer Science, B. Tech. (IT), MCA, MTech in Computer Science
