Maximizing the Value of Your Investments in the Microsoft Cloud

Newsletter
Q2 - 2019

Hi,

I am sure you have heard of the phrase “A rising tide lifts all boats”. In our case, Microsoft is the rising tide that is enabling boats like Netwoven to be lifted and sail through.

It has indeed been an exciting 2019. With the flurry of capabilities that Microsoft has added to its’ cloud platforms, Netwoven has been busy working with customers to help realize the value out of the new capabilities.

Netwoven’s focus on the three Microsoft clouds, namely, Office 365, Azure, and Dynamics 365 have paid us good dividends. Our business around these platforms continues to stay strong. Some of the customers that we have signed up this year include big names like Bay Area Rapid Transport (BART), Cypress Semiconductor, Xilinx, Ross Stores, Spectrum Health, Blizzard, and PARC to name a few. Our projects include the following:

  • Slack to Teams Migration
  • Jive to SharePoint Migration
  • On-Prem Data Warehouse to Azure Migration
  • Business Process Automation
  • Intranet Modernization
  • Teams Onboarding and Adoption

Netwoven has also expanded the Security and Compliance practice by providing services to our customers with Office 365 EMS, Advanced Threat Protection, Information Classification, and Azure Infrastructure.

We look forward to continuing to work with you. If you have any questions / feedback, please feel free to reach out to me at ntenany@netwoven.com.

Microsoft's Power Platform could be a game changer

The Power Platform is a consolidated offering from Microsoft with three services - Power BI, PowerApps and Flow. The idea of Power Platform flows from the fact that data is increasingly flowing from everywhere, and organizations that harness their data – to gain insights, then use to drive intelligent business processes – will outperform those, that don’t. Power platform enables users to do three key actions on data that help them drive business outcomes: Analyze, Act, and Automate. “It is the only solution of its kind in the industry – bringing together no-code/low-code app development, robotic process automation and self-service analytics into a single, comprehensive platform. And it enables extensibility across Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 as well as the leading third-party SaaS business applications,” said Microsoft CEO Nadella. With Power Platform you can:

  • Build and consume business applications for the web and mobile with PowerApps
  • Automate and integrate business processes with Microsoft Flow
  • Gain insights from your data regardless of where it lives with Power BI
